Based on our beloved soft-pod brewer, the CX Touch, the CX Touch Horizon is currently in the final stages of development. Soft pods combine with soluble powder systems to create cafe-style drinks at the touch of a button, using proven, reliable internals. Our newest machine promises a new look and a better interface when it launches later this summer.

Kiss Plastic Pods Goodbye
The CX Touch Horizon uses soft coffee pods, designed with far fewer materials than plastic pods. Instead of a hard plastic shell, soft pods are entirely made up of paper or silk, sealed in a foil packet to lock in freshness. Their flat, disc-like shape increases the surface area for water to come into contact with the coffee grounds, improving extraction.
Unlike plastic pods, soft pods are fully recyclable and even compostable. This means that the pods not only break down naturally, but also provide the surrounding soil with nutrients in the process.
